The latest Express Entry round specifically targeted candidates with eligible Canadian work experience in senior management occupations.
A total of 500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residence were issued in this round. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required was 392.
The CRS cut-off was considerably lower than the score required in many recent Canadian Experience Class and Provincial Nominee Program draws. However, the score of 392 applied only to candidates who met the specific eligibility requirements of the senior managers with Canadian work experience category.
Candidates who had a CRS score of 392 were invited only if they had submitted their Express Entry profiles before March 15, 2026 at 01:46:05 UTC, according to the tie-breaking rule.
The draw targeted eligible senior managers who had qualifying Canadian work experience in selected senior management occupations.
Candidates were required to:
This was a category-based Express Entry draw and not a general invitation round. Therefore, candidates with a CRS score of 392 who did not meet the requirements for the senior management category were not eligible for an invitation.
Before this round, IRCC conducted a French-language proficiency draw on July 9, 2026. That round issued 5,000 ITAs to eligible candidates with a minimum CRS score of 420.
The latest series of draws demonstrates IRCC’s continued use of program-specific and category-based selection to invite candidates with skills and experience aligned with Canada’s immigration and labour-market priorities.
